March 9th at 6:00 at the Magnolia LDS Church Building the Ellensburg 2nd ward held their Relief Society Birthday Dinner. The Brick Road Building is getting a new hard wood floor so we met in the Magnolia building. It was a wonderful evening with dinner consisting of green salad, yummy lasagna, garlic bread and yummy layered dessert! After we ate we had a program which consisted of a beautiful musical number, talk by Sister Montgomery about the Berlin Wall and showing us a piece of the wall that she has. Sister Turcott gave her presentation which she had prepared for the University entitled, "Sisters in Zion; Nineteenth Century Mormon Women and the Struggle for Women's Rights". She did a wonderful job and we all learned new facts and insights into early Church History. It was a great night to share and be together!
